Research Biography
Rakira is earning her Master's of Public Health in Community Health Education at UNC-Greensboro. While there, she hopes to expand her knowledge on being a health education specialist through research and community engagement. Rakira is interested in using Black feminist theory and reproductive justice as a framework to develop community and clinical based interventions that result in more well-rounded and equitable healthcare.
